Continuum of Care Grants

The City of Winston-Salem serves as the Collaborative Applicant for Continuum of Care grant funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of HUD Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Programs is to reduce the incidence of homelessness in communities by assisting homeless individuals and families to move to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. The City of Winston-Salem, in cooperation with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Continuum of Care and its member agencies, coordinates annual Continuum of Care submissions.

FY 2019 Winston-Salem/Forsyth County (NC-500) Continuum of Care Application

The Continuum of Care (CoC) Homeless Assistance programs are offered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address homelessness in local communities. The City of Winston-Salem, in cooperation with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Continuum of Care and its member agencies, coordinates annual Continuum of Care submissions.  Posted below is the Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2019 CoC funding.  The RFP describes the funding opportunity, including the application due date and how to apply.

For our Local CoC Competition (i.e., NC-500 FY2019 CoC Homelessness Grant Application process), project applicants/subrecipients submitted Renewal and/or New CoC Project Applications in response to the above RFP. Grant applications were submitted via Neighborly Software to the Collaborative Applicant on or before June 14, 2019, to be reviewed and ranked by the WS/FC CoC Rating Panel using objective criteria.
