The Emergency Management Advisory Council was created by joint resolutions adopted by the City Council on November 16, 1951, and by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners on December 3, 1951. |
Method of Appointment |
Six members are appointed by the City Council upon the recommendation of the Mayor. Six members are appointed by the Forsyth County Commissioners upon nomination by the Chairman. An ex-officio member is appointed to represent the following organizations: the City Council, Forsyth County Commissioners, Kernersville Board of Aldermen, Forsyth Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Emergency Management Director. |
