WS City Stars of Excellence [pdf80kb/1p] names one of our own, Mark Tighe, as a finalist.
Congratulations to the Three Semifinalists Mark Tighe (Inspections) - Mark was nominated by a co-worker who wrote, "He took it upon himself to take all the training and classes to become state-certified as a continuing education instructor for classes required in the electrical industry to renew licenses and inspector's certifications every three years. Mark provides, at his own expense, classes for all inspectors so that we might maintain our certification at no cost to the city. He offers these classes to all of our local contractors and industry professionals for free as well. Since this is the 8th quarter in which Mark has done so, his efforts exemplify consistent service excellence."
CONGRATULATIONS to our 4th Quarter Customer Service Award Winner, Angela Lindsey. Angela has only been with our department for a short time but has been complimented from various contractors as well as her co-workers on how helpful she has been to them. She has learned her new tasks quickly and efficiently. She is well liked among her co-workers and continues to do her daily tasks with a smile on her face. Angela, keep up the good work!

CONGRATULATIONS to Gary Lynch, Building Inspector for being the 2011 Employee of the Year for our Department. Good job Gary.
