Comments Sought on Draft Development Guide for Southeast Suburban Area

People who live or work in the southeast suburban area of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County are invited to review the draft Southeast Suburban Area Plan and provide comments at a community meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Friedland Moravian Church, 2750 Friedland Church Road, Winston-Salem.

The plan contains recommendations to guide future land use and development in the southeast suburban area, which is bounded roughly by Salem Lake and Business 40 to the north, Thomasville Road to the west, Union Cross and Glenn High roads to the south, and Sedge Garden Road to the east.

A draft of the area plan along with a map of the area’s boundaries and directions to the meeting is available online.
