North Cherry Street Utility Work


Utilities Division - May 15, 2009

North Cherry Street between Pittsburg Avenue and 20th Street will be closed to through traffic Monday and Tuesday, May 18-19, while a contractor installs water and sewer services. North Cherry Street between Pittsburg Avenue and 14th Street will be closed to through traffic Wednesday, May 20, while a contractor installs a water line. Work is expected to take about three weeks. Detours will be posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines on this street in conjunction with the Habitat for Humanity project. Work is expected to last through May 2009.
