Utility Commission Accepting Public Comment on Solid-Waste Plan Update

The City/County Utility Commission will receive public comment on the three-year update to the Forsyth County 10 Year Solid Waste Management Plan at its meeting on Monday, May 11. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 101 N. Main Street, Winston-Salem.

A draft of the update is posted online at www.utilities.cityofws.org. Draft copies also will be available for review at all municipal town halls in Forsyth County; the main branch of the Forsyth County Library, 660 W. Fifth St. Winston-Salem; and at the City/County Utilities Division administrative offices, 101 N. Main Street, Suite 357, Winston-Salem.
